Edward L. Deatherage, PhD, "Ed" received his PhD. in Clinical Psychology from United States International University in San Diego, California. He received a Masters Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University at Los Angeles, California and a Bachelors Degree of Psychology from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
Ed Completed a Clinical Psychology Internship via the US Air Force at the USAF Medical Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Dr. Deatherage is a Professional Hypnotherapist with training provided by the Academy for Guided Imagery in Clinical Imagery.
Dr. Deatherage has over 30 years experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient treatment settings for emotional difficulties. Ed has over fourty thousand hours of direct patient contact. He has developed an approach to treatment that could be best described as eclectic and holistic, using elements from many theoretical approaches to achieve deep emotional healing with his clients. Ed has been very successful in alleviating emotional suffering in a broad range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, couple, and families. Special interests include interactive Guided Imagery and it's healing power, spirituality and it's heaing influence, establishing healthy relationships, helping individuals achieve a self-discovery and personal groMowth, human sexuality, facilitating the healing of negative emotions and generally assisting people in achieving a healthier and happier quality of life.
